Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 C flour
  • 1 t baking powder
  • 1/8 t baking soda
  • 1/8 t nutmeg
  • 1/2 C butter
  • 1/4 C brown sugar
  • 1/3 C white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 t vanilla
  • 1/2 C candies pineapple cut in small pieces
  • 1/4 C slivered almonds

Method

Step 1

Cream butter & sugar until light and fluffy Add egg & mix well. Add rest of ingredients and mix well. Make a long log diameter @ 1 1/2 inches round or how big you want your cookies. Wrap log in parchment paper and freeze overnight. Slice off your cookie rounds crosswise and place on parchment paper. Bake 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes
