Fruit Kuchen

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 C flour
- 1/2 C sugar
- 3/4 t baking soda
- 1/3 C margarine or butter
- @ 2 C fruit
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 C sugar
Method
Step 1
Combine 1st 4 ingredients in a bowl and cut in like pie dough. I use a large fork to cut the butter and crumble it into the dry ingredients. Mold into bottom and sides of a greased 9 x 13 inch pan
Step 2
Cut fruit into small pieces like apples into slices and place 1 layer into crust in pan.
Step 3
Beat eggs and 1/2 cup sugar and pour over the fruit. It should about cover the fruit. If not I beat another egg and more sugar.
Step 4
Bake in a 375 degree oven for 30 minutes or until custard is set.
